# Translation Kamariah, a former GRO who has recently repented after being immersed in vice. Her family does not know about her work. Kamariah's return is somewhat surprising but as a dutiful daughter who helps ease the family's burden, her decision is accepted calmly. Her mother Kalsom suggests that Kamariah marry Murad, the son of their acquaintance. Kamariah's father, Pak Manan, is reluctant because Murad is known as a wild youth.
